Chinese Martial Arts Dance is a movement art for adults,
rooted in ancient China—
a time when martial arts and dance were still one.

Before battle, warriors moved to the beat of drums,
awakening courage and gathering strength.
After victory, they moved again,
weapons in hand,
to celebrate, to release, and to return to themselves.

From the very beginning, the principle was clear:
the body is cultivated first, and form naturally follows.

Chinese Martial Arts Dance carries this lineage forward.
It is practiced in steadiness,
and expressed in ease.
When the body is at home and the center is calm,
strength and beauty appear without force.

This is cultivation,
and it is expression—
not to impress, but to be true.

中国武舞,是一门面向成人的身体艺术。
它源自中国古代——
在那个武术与舞蹈尚未分离的时代。

出征之前,战士擂鼓起舞,
以动作唤醒勇气、凝聚力量;
凯旋之后,舞动兵器,
庆祝胜利,也释放身心。

自始至终,
先修其身,后显其形。

中国武舞延续这一脉络。
在安定中修习,在从容中生发。
当身体舒适、内在稳定,
力量与美,便自然显现。

它既是修行,
也是表达——
不为炫耀,只为真实。

One Art · Two Qualities

Chinese Martial Arts Dance unfolds through two complementary movement qualities.
They are not separate paths, but different expressions within the same practice.

  • TaiChi-Inspired Movement 太极体系 · 柔的表达

    This quality emphasizes continuity, flow, and internal connection.
    Movement is circular, unhurried, and guided by breath and awareness.

    It supports:

    Calm focus

    Fluid transitions

    Inner strength expressed with softness

    This quality often appears poetic, spacious, and meditative on stage.

    这一部分源自太极拳的身体理念,
    动作连贯、圆融、呼吸引导。

    它培养的是:

    安静而集中的状态

    顺畅自然的动作连接

    柔中有力的内在力量

    在舞台上,呈现出诗意、流动与空间感。

  • Kung Fu–Inspired Movement 传统武术体系灵感 · 刚的表达

    This quality draws from traditional Kung Fu training.
    Movement is grounded, rhythmic, and precise,
    with strength emerging through structure and timing.

    It supports:

    Clear presence

    Dynamic power

    Confident, focused expression

    This quality brings vitality, impact, and strength to performance.

Ballet & Dance Meditation

ballet style dance combination course includes a combination of other styles of dance to achieve specific purposes. It fuses Tai Chi methods and breathing techniques which helps the dancer increase flexibility and balance and results in relaxation. This unique ballet style avoids muscle tension and rigidity one may experience in classical ballet training.

This Class open to over 12 years of age, all levels be welcome.
